Speech Language Pathologist in Arvada, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
- Active Colorado SLP License (acceptable credentials: Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth to 21)
- Experience managing school-based caseloads, with a particular focus on mild to moderate needs is preferred
- Ability to complete background check and fingerprinting requirements for credentialing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students on a mild to moderate caseload at a single school site
- Provide therapy sessions across two, full-time days per week (14-15 hours weekly)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation to monitor student progress and meet district standards
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to teachers and families
This contract role spans the current school year, with an immediate start and continuing through late May. Your work will be on-site, allowing you to build relationships directly with students and teaching staff.
