Speech Language Pathologist in Littleton, CO

Work with a diverse K-8 student population across a smaller district featuring 16 campuses and approximately 7,000 students. This contract opportunity runs from late July through the end of May, with a 37.5-hour workweek in a mild-moderate classroom environment. Expect a manageable caseload of 40-50 students, allowing you to form meaningful connections and foster communication growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Eligible for or in process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure (please specify your status when applying)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district documentation standards
