A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) skilled in providing supportive and effective speech therapy services within a school environment. This role offers a part-time commitment of 20 hours per week, focusing on supporting students’ communication development and related educational needs.
Location: Arvada, CO (service provided at a nearby school site: 17801 E 88th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022)
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
- Experience working with children in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluation and assessment of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Work closely with teachers and school personnel to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student support and interventions
