A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in Arvada, CO. This role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, providing specialized speech and language support to students across various grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification and/or licensure as an SLP for K-12 education
- Eligibility to practice as an SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate or fully certified SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student needs
- Monitor and document student progress on caseload regularly
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to support communication development
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Location: This assignment serves students across grades K-12 at a school site near Commerce City, CO.
