Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CA SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience delivering speech/language therapy in a school or preschool environment, with strong knowledge of early childhood language development
- Comfortable managing a preschool caseload and developing age-appropriate therapy plans
- Supervisory roles such as Clinical Fellows (CFs) or SLPAs are not required or included in this assignment
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat preschool students with a variety of speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and document all services provided
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as needed
- Provide resources and strategies for educators and families to reinforce progress at home and in the classroom
