A K-12 school in Arnold, MD is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. This role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 45-50 elementary students with various communication needs, including Other Health Impairments (OHI), learning disabilities, autism, and language impairments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Maryland SLP license required.
- Clinical fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience working with children who have OHI, learning disabilities, autism, or language impairments is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
