Step into a dynamic school setting supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade during a maternity leave coverage. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, engaging with a wide variety of ages and needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with Pre-K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of evaluations, IEP writing, IEP meeting facilitation, and compliance
- Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop, write, and implement IEP goals tailored to individual needs
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and district guidelines
