What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Creative problem-solving and enthusiasm for working with diverse student needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from preschool through high school
- Crafting and implementing targeted therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Documenting progress, updating IEPs, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Providing guidance and resources to classroom teachers, families, and support staff
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech pathology
