Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and Illinois SLP license
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Experience with school-aged children; comfortable with a middle school caseload
- Excellent communication skills and strong collaborative approach
- Adaptable to supporting students on one campus or multiple sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver direct therapy for students grades 6–8
- Workload averages 45 students, aligning with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain timely documentation and contribute in meetings regarding student needs
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment for diverse learners
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed by the district
