Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are needed for a contract position supporting students from early childhood through 12th grade. This role is centered around providing specialized services during the Extended School Year (ESY) from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026. The opportunity requires in-person attendance in Arlington Heights, IL, providing essential support within a structured school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students with varying communication needs spanning early childhood through 12th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
  • Participate in a Monday through Thursday schedule, with daily hours from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (Note: The first and last day require service until 3:15 p.m.).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Waiting on Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and Clinical Fellowship (CF) approvals for multiple positions.
