Speech-Language Pathologist in Arlington Heights, IL
This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist dedicated to supporting K-12 students in a school setting. Located in Arlington Heights, IL, this full-time, onsite role offers a contract duration through the current school year. The position is perfect for professionals fluent in both English and Spanish who hold an Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student caseload.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively serve bilingual student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred.
