This position offers a consistent 37.5-hour work week, with a focus on supporting students in Grades K-5. You’ll play a vital role in helping elementary students reach their communication and academic goals, while collaborating with a dedicated school-based team.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
  • Experience or strong interest working in elementary (K-5) settings; comfort in K-12 environments is a plus
  • Open to SLP-CCC or CFY candidates eager to build their school-based experience
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse learners and collaborate with teachers and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and implementation
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student learning
  • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and transition planning as needed
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for students with varied needs
