In this role, you’ll work approximately 21 hours per week (.5 FTE), serving an elementary-aged caseload. Your focus will primarily be on conducting evaluations and assessments, with some direct therapy services as needed. You’ll collaborate with supportive educators and families, ensuring students receive the communication support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Experience with school-aged populations highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive evaluations and assessments for elementary students
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy as assigned
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school district and state guidelines
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for diverse learners
