This contract opportunity focuses on providing impactful speech and language services across multiple grade levels, directly supporting a significant needs program. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference for approximately 50 students in a supportive, onsite environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license eligible for Colorado or active state licensure
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of delivering speech therapy to children in both high school and middle school environments
- Compassionate communicator and team collaborator
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct therapy services to students, divided between two educational sites: two days each week at Berthoud High School and three days at Turner Middle School
- Providing assessments, developing IEPs, and monitoring progress for students with a range of communication needs
- Collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in meetings, team planning, and professional development as required
