A school-based contract opportunity is available in Arlington, AZ, for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with experience across pediatric, healthcare, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school settings. This role supports Pre-K through 12th-grade students, providing vital speech and language therapy services within an educational environment.
Two part-time positions are open:
Position 1
- Four days per week (36 hours total; 9-hour days)
- Serve students from Pre-K to 5th grade
- Caseload of 50 students
- Immediate start, continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY)
Position 2
- Four days per week (36 hours total; 9-hour days)
- Serve students from 6th to 12th grade
- Caseload of 50 students
- Start in April, with contract extending through EOSY
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Provide direct therapy to students within assigned caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school protocols
- Attend related meetings and professional development sessions as required
