Speech Therapist in Apopka, FL
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available to provide support for middle school students in grades 6 through 8. Location: School settings in Apopka, FL
Duration: Contract through the current school year, ending 5/29/2026
Schedule: Full-time and part-time hours available; some hybrid work options may be possible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students in middle school
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensing requirements and ASHA standards
- For part-time roles, provide services across multiple school sites as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Current FL state licensure for Speech Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with school-age children (grades 6-8) preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a school environment
