Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid North Carolina SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Proven experience with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Offer consultation and education on strategies to support student progress in the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation for all assessments and services rendered
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ speech-language needs
- Engage in staff development and contribute to a supportive school community
