Both experienced SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply. Caseloads span K-12, and there’s flexibility to match you with the age group that best fits your skills and interests.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- North Carolina SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- CCC-SLP or eligibility to begin Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Passion for working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- School-based experience a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech/language goals into classroom activities
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and support to parents and caregivers
