Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working closely with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. This position spans the academic year, starting August 24 and continuing through June 2, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Engage with a caseload primarily consisting of elementary students, while also making a difference for a small number of secondary students. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (a copy or screenshot is required for application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred
  • Profound knowledge of conducting therapy, evaluations, and participating in meetings for students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions to individuals and groups
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school requirements
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
