Speech Language Pathologist in Anoka, MN
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working closely with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. This position spans the academic year, starting August 24 and continuing through June 2, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (a copy or screenshot is required for application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred
- Profound knowledge of conducting therapy, evaluations, and participating in meetings for students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions to individuals and groups
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school requirements
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
