We are seeking two dedicated SLPs to fill full-time, contract positions, with the potential for one to transition into a direct hire role. Both positions offer the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and impact a diverse student population.
Position Details:
- Position 1: Serve students in grades 6-12 within a dynamic middle and high school setting.
- Position 2: Support a caseload spanning PreK-12th grade, focusing on 20 students in grades 6-12 and an average of 3-5 students per remaining grade.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered.
- School-based SLP experience preferred; pediatric SLP or healthcare SLP background also valued.
- MN state licensure (or eligibility) is necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administration, and families.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based services.
- Effective communication skills, flexible approach, and strong organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for assigned students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate student progress to families.
- Create a positive, engaging learning environment that fosters communication growth.
