This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite with a dynamic K-12 population in a supportive educational setting. With a start date in late August and an end date in early June, you’ll play a key role in student development across a full academic year.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Possess an active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Prior experience supporting K-12 students preferred
- Comfortable working onsite within a school setting
- Candidates must hold a full SLP license; no Clinical Fellows at this time
- Skilled at adapting therapy approaches to individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student progress
- Work closely with general/special education teams to meet student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for K-12 learners
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services in person
This full-time assignment is 37.5 hours per week, however, there is flexibility to consider part-time candidates who are dedicated and qualified. You’ll enjoy the rewards of eliminating communication barriers for young learners and contributing to a vibrant community near Ann Arbor.
