Speech Language Pathologist in Andover, MN
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) or qualified SLPAs to make a meaningful impact at the elementary level on a contract basis. These positions, conveniently located near Andover, MN, involve providing coverage for leaves and working closely with students to support their communication development. We have three openings, all in person, making this a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in a collaborative, hands-on educational environment.
Current openings and timelines include:
- Immediate need: Covering from now until mid-November.
- Mid-September start: Coverage begins mid-September for a short-term leave.
- Late fall onset: .7 FTE opening from mid-November through the end of the school year.
Highly organized, compassionate professionals will feel right at home contributing to these dynamic elementary teams. SLPAs are encouraged to apply and will also be considered for these roles.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an SLP-CCC or eligibility as an SLPA.
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students in speech and language needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for individual student requirements.
- Professional, positive approach and genuine care for student success.
- Comfortable contributing to IEP meetings and progress notes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in person.
- Developing personalized plans to improve student communication skills.
- Conducting assessments and tracking student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
- Supporting a positive, inclusive school environment.
