A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Anchorage, AK. The assignment runs from August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a standard 40-hour workweek, typically scheduled as 8.5 hours per day including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working within school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently, typically across approximately two elementary schools
  • Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators and families

Location:

  • Anchorage, Alaska; onsite work only (no virtual care options)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to an average caseload of 47 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school district protocols
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and meetings as required
