School Speech and Language Pathologist | Anchorage, Alaska
A school-based opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in Anchorage, AK for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is onsite only, serving approximately two elementary schools with an average caseload of 47 students.
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Contract Dates: August 14, 2026 – May 27, 2027

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Alaska State Certification and Licensure for SLPs or SLPAs
- Experience working with school-age children
- Knowledge of school-based speech and language therapy services
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, intervention, and support to students in a school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Maintain documentation and comply with school and state policies
- Support communication development in children within the assigned caseload
Additional Information:
- Onsite work only; remote options or VOCO are not available for this position
- Positions are contracted for the full academic year with consistent weekly hours
