We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive school team in Amherst, New Hampshire for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
- Location: Amherst, NH
- School Setting: Middle School
- Caseload: Approximately 21 students
- Schedule: September 2 through June 15
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Work Week: Monday–Friday
- Daily Hours: 7 hours per day
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle school students.
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
