Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Holyoke, Massachusetts
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services in a high school setting in Holyoke, MA. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatrics, school-based therapy, teletherapy, and clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates who are ready to work in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include conducting high school evaluations, delivering individualized speech-language services, and managing the workflow of a Speech Assistant. The caseload comprises approximately 75 students, requiring effective caseload management and collaboration with educational staff to support student communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and staff
- Experience or willingness to supervise a Speech Assistant
- Flexibility to work the high school hours of 7:41 AM to 2:15 PM
