Key Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Completed or in-progress Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP License (documentation required with application)
- Flexibility to serve mixed caseloads, primarily preschoolers, with possible assignments in elementary through high school
- Reliable transportation for commuting between assigned locations within Carbon or Lehigh County
- Strong professional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Position Highlights:
- Deliver itinerant speech therapy and early intervention services to preschool students in a supportive collaborative setting
- Provide both individual and group therapy, adapting interventions according to changing needs throughout the school year
- Engage regularly with parents, teachers, and fellow professionals to maximize student growth and progress
- Maintain thorough progress notes and comply with state and federal documentation requirements
- Commitment to a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (tentative year-round Early Intervention calendar, July 2026 through June 2027)
- Be responsive to evolving caseloads: willingness to work across age groups from preschool through high school
