The assignment follows a year-round early intervention calendar and spans 35 hours per week, ensuring continuity and consistency for the students you support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Pennsylvania SLP licensure required
- Demonstrated completion of educator credentials (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with preschool/early intervention populations
- Adaptability to serve both preschool and potentially K-12 caseloads as assignment shifts
- Commitment to in-person service delivery and reliable commuting
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in itinerant settings
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Document progress and communicate effectively with families and educational teams
- Maintain up-to-date records as per district and regulatory standards
