Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with high school populations preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant school-based documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver group and one-on-one speech and language therapy services
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student performance, maintain records, and provide updates at team meetings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Collaborate closely with the onsite facilitator for seamless support
