Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist—CCC strongly preferred
- Experience in a school-based pediatric setting
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems is a plus
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEP goals for K-8 students
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, therapy, and support services for K-8 students
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Support AAC implementation for students with complex communication needs
- Promote positive communication skills in both individual and group settings
- Stay current with best practices and maintain all necessary documentation
