Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in North Virginia, just 45 minutes from DC. This part-time opportunity (10-15 hours per week) offers a varied and impactful caseload across three locations, where you’ll make a difference for both public and private school students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct speech-language pathology services for a 4th-grade student at home
- Providing support in a school setting for a 2nd-grade student
- Assisting up to two students at a private day school while the facility addresses its staffing needs
- Collaborating with school staff and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and consistent therapy strategies
- Keeping clear documentation and contributing to IEP planning and progress reviews
We are seeking candidates with:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Familiarity with providing therapy across multiple environments (school, home, private setting)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to transport between multiple locations within North Virginia
- Willingness to begin the Virginia Department of Social Services background check immediately, and provide a current TB test
Please note that on-site service is required for this role, with no virtual therapy options available. The start date is as soon as credentialing is completed, running through May 29, 2026. “Prescreen” interviews will help ensure this position is the right fit—you’ll be able to select a convenient interview time within the provided windows.
