Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albuquerque, New Mexico
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year, starting as soon as possible. This role primarily involves providing speech and language therapy services to approximately 60 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position operates between two schools in Albuquerque, NM, offering flexibility to work onsite or virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educators and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
- Serve a caseload of around 60 students across grades K-12, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.
- Utilize best practices and evidence-based interventions to support students’ communication development.
- Document student progress and comply with all relevant educational and therapy regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP sessions, and parent conferences as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with credentials such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or active Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience or willingness to work within school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload and work collaboratively with school staff.
Location:
- Travel between two school sites located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Flexibility to provide services onsite or via virtual platforms.
