The role begins August 21, 2026, and continues through June 9, 2027, following a 190-day school calendar in the Salem area as well as Polk and Yamhill counties.

Ideal candidates will bring expertise in providing speech and language interventions to children ages 3–5 and demonstrate adaptability within diverse educational environments, including both in-person and teletherapy platforms.

What you bring:

  • Valid SLP licensure; Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Experience or training in pediatric and school-based speech therapy settings
  • Knowledge of teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for young learners
  • Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) considered a plus

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct therapy services for preschool children
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing support planning
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when required to ensure continuity of care
