Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Active state of Oregon licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and engage a diverse caseload of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to promote student success
- Assess, track, and document student progress
- Serve 2-3 schools, with specific grade levels and caseload assigned according to your preferences and strengths
- Caseload options include full-time (approximately 55 students) or part-time (25-28 students over 2.5-3 days weekly)
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines related to school-based therapy
