School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Dallas, Oregon
Empower students to reach their full potential by utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a dynamic school environment on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity allows you to directly impact the communication skills and overall success of children and adolescents, all within a supportive educational setting.
Ideal candidates will bring experience or certification in one or more of the following areas: SLP-CCC, SLP - CFY, school-based SLP, teletherapy for SLP, SLPA for schools, or healthcare experience as an SLPA.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year); SLPA applicants should possess a relevant associate’s/bachelor’s degree or certificate.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred for SLP roles.
- State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP or SLPA.
- Comfortable with school-based or pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, or communication challenges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals.
- Maintain compliance with documentation and progress reporting requirements.
- Deliver services in-person and/or via teletherapy as assigned.
- Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging their progress and participation.
