Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active or eligible state licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Creative problem-solving and a passion for collaborating with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and deliver effective therapy for individual students and small groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Document assessments, develop goals, and create progress reports in compliance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for individualized student planning
- Offer guidance and resources to school staff and parents regarding communication strategies
