Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Birmingham, Alabama

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama (SLP in AL)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads is highly preferred
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders in children and adolescents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A passion for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students needing speech and language support
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and developmental growth
- Facilitate direct, small group, and consultative therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records and comprehensive progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
This full-time contract includes 37.5 hours per week across five days, supporting a varied and rewarding student caseload.
