Here's a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a positive impact in an educational setting. This contract position offers up to 40 hours per week and involves serving an engaging caseload of approximately 55 students across two elementary campuses. Students present with speech-only, mild-to-moderate, and extensive learning needs, offering a diverse and meaningful workload.

Preferred candidates are those who enjoy collaborating with school staff and are adaptable to various assignment formats. Both in-person and hybrid delivery models will be considered, as well as virtual SLPs and SLP/SLPA teams (with the SLPA on-site).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligibility for California licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
  • Experience with school-based caseloads and a variety of communication disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and goal writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring.
  • Work closely with educators, families, and other providers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Travel between assigned elementary school sites (split assignment).
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused environment.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data tracking for caseload management.
