Soliant is in search of a licensed Speech Therapist to join a school district located near Garland, TX. We are presently conducting interviews and hiring for the current school year.
Duties:
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Offer therapy services to students dealing with various conditions, such as articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice issues, and swallowing challenges.
• Implement evidence-based practices and innovative methods to enhance communication skills and enrich the quality of life for students.
• Maintain precise and current documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and develop effective treatment plans.
• Empathy and patience in working with individuals of diverse ages and abilities.
