Soliant is looking for a licensed Speech Therapist to join a school district in the Katy, TX area. We are currently interviewing and hiring for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide therapy to students with a variety of conditions, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice issues, and swallowing challenges.
- Employ evidence-based methods and creative approaches to boost communication abilities and enhance students' quality of life.
- Keep detailed and current records of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for a clinical fellowship.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create effective treatment plans.
- Compassion and patience to work with individuals across different ages and abilities.
