Soliant is currently recruiting a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in close proximity to San Antonio, TX. Interviews are underway, and we are eager to fill this position for the remainder of the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Deliver therapy services to students with a range of conditions, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice issues, and swallowing challenges.
- Implement evidence-based techniques and innovative methods to enhance communication abilities and improve students' overall quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and advancements within the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective treatment planning.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when working with individuals of diverse ages and abilities.
