Do you have a passion for aiding individuals in overcoming communication hurdles? We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant in a school-based environment. As an SLPA, you'll collaborate closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to provide top-notch speech and language therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work alongside speech-language pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions for students with communication disorders.
• Assist in administering assessments and screenings to pinpoint speech and language difficulties.
• Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions for students, implementing various therapy techniques and activities.
• Adjust and monitor therapy plans as needed based on client progress and feedback from supervising speech-language pathologists.
• Aid in the utilization and upkeep of specialized therapy equipment and materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Possession of a valid SLPA license or certification (if mandated by state).
• Sound knowledge of speech and language development, along with common speech and language disorders.
