Job Description: As a Virtual SLP, you will have the incredible opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home or preferred workspace while delivering personalized speech therapy services to clients throughout Washington. You will leverage our advanced telepractice platform, which combines video conferencing, interactive tools, and a vast library of resources, to engage with clients and create meaningful therapy experiences. Whether you're working with children, adults, or both, you will have the autonomy to develop tailored treatment plans and implement evidence-based techniques to facilitate speech and language development, enhance communication skills, and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on client needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions via telepractice.
- Utilize our state-of-the-art telepractice platform to conduct engaging therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other professionals to ensure optimal progress and carryover of skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development activities, and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid Washington state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in telepractice or remote therapy is a plus.
- Proficient in using technology and comfortable navigating telepractice platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseload effectively.
