Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Blazer Jobs, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication and language development within educational settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children overcome speech and language challenges and committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication disorders.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Indiana.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations governing speech-language services in educational settings.
