Blazer Jobs, a leading staffing agency, is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for full-time positions within schools located in the Fort Smith, AR area.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This typically includes a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, completion of a supervised clinical fellowship, and passing scores on the Praxis exam.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and facilitate carryover of skills into the classroom and home environments.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
