Soliant is actively interviewing candidates for a licensed Speech Therapist role within a school district near Detroit, MI, for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Offer therapy services to students with a range of conditions, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice disorders, and swallowing challenges.
• Apply evidence-based methods and creative approaches to improve communication abilities and students' overall quality of life.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Stay informed on current research, developments, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship.
• State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for creating effective treatment plans.
• Compassion and patience to work with students of various ages and abilities.
