Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathology (SLP) | Tecumseh, Michigan
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Michigan license to provide part-time therapy services in a school setting. This position offers a manageable caseload of 48 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The workday runs from 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within a structured schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering skilled speech-language therapy services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to support student communication needs
- Conducting teletherapy sessions as needed to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Michigan state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience supporting K-12 students in a school environment
- Proficiency with AAC devices and teletherapy service delivery
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively
