Job Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in Montgomery, Alabama. Three full-time virtual positions are available for the upcoming school year. SLPs will provide both direct therapy and evaluations while supporting students across multiple school campuses. Caseloads will not exceed 60 students, and assignments may include supporting several campuses within the Montgomery area. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP seeking a fully virtual school-based role with a structured caseload.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama ASHA certification required for consideration
- Alabama Educator SLP certification required; candidates may begin with this credential pending
- School-based experience preferred
- Experience providing both speech therapy and evaluations
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively provide services in a virtual school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
- Manage a caseload of no more than 60 students
