Qualifications/Skills:
- Active Tennessee SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for or holds CCC-SLP; CFY candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop targeted therapy plans tailored to individual students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy services within schools and collaborate with educators and families
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based SLP services
