Preferred background and skills:
- Active state licensure or certification in one or more of the following: Speech Language Pathology (SLP/SLP-CCC/SLPA), Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Psychology, Educational Diagnostician, or credentialed Special Education Teacher.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, with a focus on collaborative team approaches.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and data-driven documentation.
- Effective communicator, able to work closely with students, staff, and families.
- Passionate about supporting students with varying abilities and collaborating to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, therapy, and/or instructional services as aligned with your area of expertise.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, student support teams, and IEP development.
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to promote student goals, skill acquisition, and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate records, contribute to progress monitoring, and ensure compliance with educational best practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and share resources within Alyssa’s Core Team.
