Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, intervention, and support services to students with communication disorders impacting educational performance.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop critical communication skills and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for students with communication needs
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with student needs
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families
Provide consultation and recommendations to support student success in the classroom
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or educator certification as required
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, if you have a CF send them to me!
Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates with pediatric experience are encouraged to apply
